Tap at source. Hazed gold. White lasting foam. Nice piny and sweet citrus notes. Some decent bitterness. East drinking affair. Good bitterness. Solid.

Tap at source. Needs the year thing removed. Hazed gold. Decent white foam. Good lean malts and punchy hop throughout. Good bitterness. Less sweet than other pales tried on the day. Pretty smashable.

Tap at source. Hazed pale gold. Fairly loose off white foam. Not the best looker. Yeasty cryo fruity nose. Pretty sweet overall. Fairly standard hoppy number with no real outstanding features. Ok.

Cask at source. Clear gold obvs. Tight white head. Pretty yeasty and very malty. Smelled a bit Wards-ish, which was a good thing. Light sweet. Fair bitterness. Easy going malt forward bitter (it’s not a pale ale).

Tap at source. Clear gold. Good white head. Clean and refreshing with distinct salinity and lots of the lime coming through. Very crisp overall. Smashed several with great ease.

Bottle. Chatsworth Farm Shop. Looks class before it’s poured. Quality packaging. Sits hazed gold with a soppy white head. Stays the course. Nose has lemon verbena. Sweet orange jelly sweets. Touch of leafy piny hop. Taste is a little sweet first off with a nicely balanced pithy bitterness. Not without some dryness too. Super clean overall. Class affair this. I get that Chatsworth ask for a beer that ticks particular boxes using specific ingredients, but then this brewer still keeps things really drinkable and satisfying. Quality.

Can. HOTM. Murky brown. Decent foam. Bit of yer charred grapefruit on top of roasty nutty malts. Semi sweet up front with a good hit of marmalade like bitterness. Easy drinking. Long Buxton bitterness on the finish. Good gear.
