Big daft bottle. Tiny little glass. It ain’t a fruited sour. Duly edited. A little saline. A little vinous. Bit wheaty and sweet. Not shy on the acidity. CWs first pop at lambic (I think) and it’s a pretty decent stab tbf.

Bottle picked up at Caves Ermitage on Quintessence day 1. Opens a tad dull. Pour isn’t too lively. Hazed orange amber. Slim ring of white. Nose has fairly intense tangy fruity oaky notes. Some fully ripe citrus in there. New shoes. Dusty cellar. Taste is tangy but fairly sweet initially with a modest acidity and a hint of oak bitterness. Decent body although lacks a bit of life down to low carbonation levels. Tart and fruity juicy finish lifts things considerably.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed plum brown. Big old lasting lacing off white foam. Nose has yer Xmas cake mix in spades. Buttered banana bread. The fruit is in abundance. Taste is semi sweet. Nice vinous character. Good body throughout. Foamy carbonation. Nice nip of bitterness to finish. Great stuff.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed lemon gold. Huge egg white swede. Looks like a meringue. Doesn’t smell unlike meringue either. Lemon rind. Sweet bready brioche like malts. Lovely ripe banana-esque yeasty notes. Taste has some bready sweetness and a touch of citrus bitterness. Foamy and soft throughout. Nice nip of bitterness to finish. Lovely.

Bottle. Bier Huis Ossett. Faint haze on a pale gold. Good lacing lasting white foam. Slightly rubbery or maybe metallic on the malt front. Crisp enough spicy hop. Drinks easy overall with light bitterness. Fairly clean. Bitter linger. Ok.

Bottle by way of a trade. Cheers Eric. This has a white label with a pink cap btw. Anyhoo. Looks great Barca lack of swede. Glowing straw gold. Loads happening here. Bit of wee. Pug fust. Lemon and lime shandy. Taste is stunning. Tart sharp bitter creamy and ice cream sweet all rolled up. Never drinks 7.5. Mad, but very good.

Can. HOTM. Saison innit? Pink tinged gingery gold. Slim firm white foam. Looks boss. Nose has wheat. Soft yeasty notes. Raspberry purée. Bit of sweet ripe citrus. Taste is semi sweet with a nice raspberry sharpness. Hugely chuggable as you’d expect. Fine rolling carbonation sits nicely. Light tart raspberry finish. Class.
