Aroma of malts, oak and aquavit spices, hints of caramel, brown bread and liquorice. Flavour with the same elements, some sweetness but not too much, low bitterness.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Mahogany colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, brittle, burnt breadcrumbs. Rich flavour with the same elements, hints of prunes and chocolate, but not too sweet. Moderate hops. A nice bock.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9%. Clear and pale golden colour, huge white head. Aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast, white kandij sugar syrup, coriander seeds and Curacao oranges. Fizzy mouthfeel. Spicy flavour with the same elements, moderate hops.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.1%. Beautiful mahogany colour, small off-white head. Aroma of malts, dark bread, burnt breadcrumbs, hints of roasted nuts. The flavour has the same elements, and is not too sweet. Hints of prunes and coffee. Medium bitter finish. A fairly nice Christmas bock.

750 ml corked & caged green bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%. Very pale straw colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma of apples, hints of rhubarb and sulphites. Crisp and fruity dry and acidic flavour, notes of sour apples and rhubarb, a hint of sulphites.
