440 ml can, as Salikatt Sevje West Coast Double IPA,from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 8.0%. Moderately hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, birch sap and piney and resinous hops. The flavour is bitter and resinous throughout, also grapefruity notes, sufficient malts. A decent "old school" IPA.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Nærbø. ABV is 8.2%. Nearly clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of peaches and other fruits, also flowers and honey, hints of farmhouse. Flavour of peaches, citrus and various fermenting fruits, hints of brettanomyces. .

440 ml can, as Hope Export Stout Seasonal Brew, from Vinmonopolet Nærbø. ABV is 7.5%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, mild coffee and dark chocolate, a hint of liquorice. Smooth and pleasant flavour, with the same elements, slightly on the dry side, also with moderate bittering hops (48 IBU).

Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, but the smoked malts are more distinct now, hints of smoked meat and smoked fish, seaweed and iodine. .

375 ml bottle, as Cloudwater Funky IPA Sabro & Amarillo Dry-Hopped Foudre Ale Vintage 2023, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of farmhouse, farmhouse kitchen, brettanomyces, over-ripe and fermenting apples, oak and lactic acid. Medium sour flavour with the same elements. Unusual and interesting.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy pale straw colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of pineapple and other tropical fruits, some citrus. The medium sweet flavour has the same elements, also a hint of pine needles.

375 ml bottle, vintage 2021, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 5.7%. Slightly hazy and very pale straw colour, small white head. Aroma of brettanomyces and "spicy" Belgian yeast, hints of fermenting pears and other fermenting fruits. Moderately sour and "spicy" flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, some citrus. Refreshing.
