750 ml corked & caged bottle, as Les Trois Mousquetaires Grande Cuvée Centrale Scotch Whisky, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 10.5%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Distinct aroma of oak, Scotch whisky, iodine, heather honey and roast malts. The flavour is medium sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, also hints of dark rye bread and chocolate.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, creamy beige head. Moderate aroma of roast malts, mild coffee, chocolate and oatmeal. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, nothing very "special", but a thoroughly well brewed and well balanced oatmeal stout throughout. Moderate bitterness. Recommended!

Small sample from 473 ml cans, at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, small tan head. Distinct aroma of tonka beans, maple syrup, molasses and roast malts. Cloying flavour with dominant tonka beans. I hate tonka beans, and the maple syrup does not help.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy deep red to purple colour, moderate off-white to pink head. Aroma of Dr. Pepper, some cherries. Moderately sour flavour of Cherry Coke with alcohol. Oh well .... could have been worse.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma and flavour of fruity and piney hops, fairly well balanced. The mouthfeel is not bad for a 4.7% beer. A decent session IPA.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger, as Les Trois Mousquetaires Grande Cuvée Déjeuner Impérial. ABV is 11.5%. Black colour, no head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses, fusel, oak and alcohol, notes of chocolate and vanilla. Rich mouthfeel and flavour, notes of roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee, oak and bourbon whiskey.

500 ml can, as Budvar Nealko, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, n/a dept. ABV is max. 0.5%. Clear golden colour, moderate to small white head. Typical industrial n/a beer aroma of wort, baby porridge and over-cooked vegetables. The flavour has some of the same elements, but is quite dry, with noticeable and somewhat metallic hops. Thin mouthfeel as expected.
