Can from Aldi (I assume). Or pours mostly clear orangey/dirty gold with a dissipating frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, ripe tropical vibes, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, blueberries and candied orange peel. The taste is bitter - sweet, touch green and piney to begin, light weed, then plump ripe tropical fruits, mango, juicy peach, pineapple, pithy citrus, fruit cocktail, quite smooth and some mellow alcohol warmth through a soft finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Very good beer for the £££. Not sweet or sickly. Decent.

Beer Merchants Mystery Box. It pours clear yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is crispy, toasty grains, light spice, slightly nutty, cereal, grass, biscuit and doughy white bread. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, snappy, toasty grains, mellow spice, cereal, hay, nuttiness, some white bread, rich tea biscuit and grass with a dry finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nothing wrong with this as a hot day crusher.

Can direct from Fierce. It pours crystal clear pale yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is rice cakes, sake vibes, damp grass, herbal, peppery spice, juniper, angelica, perfumed and aromatic wood. The taste is crisp, super dry, snappy, quite clean, toasty grains, rice cakes, peppery spice, juniper, fragrant, aromatic cedar and some tannin with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Prefer this one to the yuzu, which surprised me. Interesting and quenching.

Cask at The Grill, Aberdeen. It pours. lear deep brown with a fluffy khaki head. The aroma is rather soft, sweet, sticky, toasty grains, molasses, malt loaf and sticky dried fruits. The taste is hides the alcohol well... It's pretty smooth, bitter - sweet character, roasty, chocolate,.raisin, sultana, molasses and malt loaf which dries out towards the finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth to it, but it sure drank easy for the abv.
