Bottle. Pours a clear light gold color with a tight white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Aroma of nearly sour pilsner malts. The flavor matches the nose. Semi-sour malts and barely there hops. Clean and crisp mouthfeel. Not sharp. Mild bitterness. Pretty decent except for the sour edge.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Manchester. Mildly hazed yellow-gold with some carbonation, although fizzy for it. Has quite a nice texture, somewhat smooth, but a dirtier hoppy pilsner taste with a floral influence.

12oz bottle at the GBBF, 7th Aug 2019. Needed a crisp Pilsener to straighten out my palate after some strong flavoured cask ales and I thought this might do the trick, it did. Clean and clear golden pour, white crown on top. Uncomplicated aroma and taste with a mild citrus leaning alongside the light malty base.

Hardywood Park Pils 5.2% Classic matte copper with a thick white head. A good looking pils. Lightly bready and spicy aroma on a semi-slick medium body. The taste is sweet but clean with the bready/mild herbal spice thing following through from the aroma. A solid beer. 3.5

Bottle at home from Watford M&S. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a fading loose white head. Aroma is sweet breads, apple, light spice, pepper, light lemony citrus. Flavour is composed of pils grains, light apple, earthy citrus hop, little pepper. Palate is semi sweet, moderate, semi crisp finish. Fine.

Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Leicester. Yellow/gold and slightly hazy with lots of carbonation. Hay, appleskin and gardenia aroma. Sweetish taste with orchard fruit character, with some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Nicely carbonated. A bit ho-hum.

Bottle from M&S Reading at a bargain £1.25. Deep gold with a white head and a light fizz. Malty with some grass, a little cardboard and a touch of butter. I like the malt, but it's neither as crisp nor as refreshing as I'd hope.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at M&S Canary Wharf. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of dry sourdough, crispy biscuits and cereal, mild herbal hops, soft grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean in the finish, more crunchy cereal grains, mellow grassy bitterness. Serviceable.
