Although this is a big beer with pretty high ABV it's still very drinkable. Lots of dried fruit in the flavour accompanied by a soft bitterness. The hop is very well present in both nose and flavour yet not dominating. Finishes with a nice warming feeling in the throat.

Draught @ Molen Brouwcafé. Clear, deep amber/copper color. Dense, rocky off white head with good retention. Aroma's: resinous hops, sweet fruit, caramel. Retronasal it's dank, caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet, sweet fruit, caramel malts. Strong alcohol feel. Above medium bodied. Long finish, moderate bitter and caramel.

Thank you Rubin77! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2018). Orange, creamy white head. Nose is cooked apple, cough syrup, candied grapefruit peel. Taste is same stale candy, orange peel, cough syrup, cooked apple, caramel, cooked apple. Not my style.

Clear amber beer, big aery irregular beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: CO2, some orange peel, alcohol, some chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, charcoal, some jam, malty, lots of grains, very sugary, lots of alcohol, some ripe banana. Aftertaste: more of the same...

Almost clear amber beer, small.pale tan head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth airy malts, touch of cream, decent toffee, slightly bitterish. Light savoury vibe. Little marmalade. Soft creamy finish. Decent barleywine.

Helder roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig, warm en enigszins zoet met iets van thee en bloemen. Aparte smaak dat wel.

Bottled 11-10-2017. Is what promised. Some hoppy bitter, big malty background. Boozy, but easy drinking. Fruity, dried apricots. Smooth. OK!
