16oz can from Alesmith online. Nose is chocolate, coffee, banana, and a bit of rye bread. Black with a big, fairly quick dissipating cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet with the bananas not overpowering. Nice!

Murky, dark cola pour. Lingering veil of head.
Green plantain sort of banana nose. Not initially sweet. A slightly medicinal candied Runt scent.
Veggie, very plantain-like. "Natural flavors" usually don't deliver & leave me a bit nauseous. Bittersweet, leaning bitter. Cola. Aspirin bitterness.
Surprisingly high carb. Thin. Bit more acid than I want. Medicinal booze.

I can say that this will be my first banana flavored imperial stout. Let us see how that goes. Pint can obtained in the Alesmith four-pack mix from a retailer in the Chicago area. My Great Heights snifter receives the pour and it is a fully dark brown liquid topped with a similarly dark brown head that quickly subsides. I smell considerable banana and a bit of grain. I take a drink and will take that over the nose. Bitter chocolate, banana, bread dough, pecans, roasty malts and enough caramel to register. An unusual imperial stout but I find it interesting.

My first of the 2026 Speedway Pie series, US Pint can (in a mixed pack of four) obtained from a Baron's Market in Temecula. Drank as a nightcap with Matt (my Son In Law) on 11th April 2026. He really is a wimp when it comes to beer drinking, I had about 80% of the can. Anyway it's a very dark pour, tanned roof with a huge banana aroma. Boozy banana taste with a vanilla sweetness alongside the banana taste. Interesting and I'm looking forward to the other three in the series. Matt, not so much, although he likes the Porsche 911 labelling.

Can. Black beer with a brown head. Banana cream and chocolate aroma with light coffee. Banana and vanilla flavor with chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Fuller bodied. Banana and vanilla linger with chocolate, caramel, and coffee.

Can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours very dark - I'd like to say black but my heart says brown - with a deep tan head. Banana foam sweets dominate with some moderate roasted malts. I quite like banana foam sweets so it's not a bad thing I suppose 🍌🍌🍌

16 oz can purchased as a single at The Wine Thief & Ale Jail in Crystal, Minnesota. The pour is an opaque black brown with a ½ inch khaki head that falls quickly. The aroma is bright banana, clove, and under the fruit a hint of roast. The taste is roast malt, soy, caramel, cream, banana fruit and char roast. The palate is medium to heavier boded, soft natural carbonation and the banana caramel cream sweet to the finish. As with others, nice integration of flavors mask the high ABV well. This was a pretty weird version, as it warmed tasted like banana now and later.

Can shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2026. Black color, small off-white to beige head. Smell.and taste malts, weird sweetness, but afterwards it has a decent malt and dark malts bitterness. The banana ish shit is there, but fortunately not too much. However, I've only tried a sample. Not my kind of beer, definitely not.

Pint can pours with a nice dark colored body that supports a nice full tan head of foam. The aroma offers up . . . oh Jesus! this is straight up banana with hints of roasted to dark roasted malts just on the periphery of the aromatic experience. Whoa, the taste delivers banana from front to back with modest booziness and roasted malts in the background. As it warms a bit the roastiness and roasted coffee do build a meager semblance of "balance." OK.
