very little white head on an unfiltered deep golden body. The nose is appealing, with dark berries, malt and a hint of hops. Those flavours are extended into the taste profile, augmenting a rich booziness, grapefruit rind, citrus and earthy hop elements, and some brown sugar. Very rich and thick body. The more I sip it, the more I like it, although the sweetness does accumulate over time. A gutsy play by a relatively unkown brewery.

Crystal clear golden and peach coloured body with a rich, super nice microfoamed off-white head that leaves a very intricate lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of yeast, light fruit, peaches, apricots, a touch of hops, and a pungent perfume element. Medium-bodied; Nice creamy mouthful that shows some excellent light hop flavours, some bread and biscuity malt notes and a very refined, yet elegant sweetness from fruit, a touch of icing sugar and some light honey. Aftertaste is well-structured with some light yeast notes, some grain and malt product and a smooth yet defined alcohol presence near the back end. Overall, a fairly good beer that shows a lot of well-defined elements, very smooth complexities and a good depth throughout, but this is definitely not an IPA in any sense of the phrase - more of a Belgian Ale or a Belgian Tripel with this yeast strain and nothing else. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Marche des Sauveurs du Quebec in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 14-February-2016 for CA$6,75 sampled at home in Washington after booking a flight a few minutes ago from Canada in just a few days.

From a bottle at the Nov 2015 RateBeer gathering. Pours a cloudy copper with an off white head. Flavors of caramel and light pine notes. Pretty subdued for a big IPA.

Bottle courtesy of iphonephan, thanks! Why is this an American Strong Ale? Shouldn’t it be a Canadian Strong Ale. Hazy golden color. Aroma of orange peel. Taste is bitter fruity citrus and raw bread dough. Tasty.

Bottle: Poured a deep dirty murky beige color ale with a super-giant foamy head with great retention and some really good lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some earthy flavors are pretty enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by citrusy notes with loads of earthy flavors with a dry mal backbone. Body is super full with limited filtration with a huge amount of carbonation. Weird beer that is close to a barleywine than an IPA. Some work need to be done on the bottling and level of carbonation but it is to be expected of such a new brewer.

An orange amber DIPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a musky biscuit with resinous hops, alcohol warmth, herbaceous qualities, nice. In mouth, a massive malt bomb with light licorice, resinous hops, loads of alcohol, very nice.
