Our ode to summer. By implementing a sour mash procedure in our kettle an intense lactic and sour character emerges. The beer is then fermented with our lager yeast. Finishes fruity, citrusy, dry, and quite tart.

Pours golden. Nose is sour dough bread and lemons. Tastes of lemon spritzer, sour, grass, some honey dew, plenty of lactose. Interesting brew smooth yet sour.

50cl bottle pours a hazy yellow with a ring of white head. Nose has lemon, yogurt, lightly herbal. Flavor is super lemony, some unripened apricot, light hay. Oily finish. Tart too.

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy blonde color berliner weisse with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes is a bit one-dimensional. Taste is also dominated by simple tart notes with light wheat malt also noticeable. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking Berliner with limited amount of complexity.

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to Sandman. Pours mostly clear yellow with a creamy white head. Clean citric aroma with tart lemon and subtle funk. Light sweet flavor with light sour bite, more tart lemons, mild citrus rind bitterness, some hay. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Clean finish with good lactic tang, more tart lemons, mellow bitter hay. Solid. Very refreshing,

Draft @ The Ale House, Amesbury. Hazy, bright yellow color with spotty lace. The aroma and flavor goes hand-in-hand.

Tart lemon flavor up front of the sip with a straw and light pale grain base. Light lactic acid in the back of the sip with a lemongrass note in there as well. The carbonation is kind of high with a spritzy feel. It gives it a slightly strange feeling for the mouthfeel. Interesting offering.

A hazed blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy hops, light acidity, nice. In mouth, a smooth citrusy Weisse like offering, lemon, light and quaffable. On tap at Prohibition Pig.

From the cask at Cask Republic and on tap at the brewery. Very cloudy pale golden-yellow. Flat from cask. Nose of grapefruit, yogurt, vanilla, lemon candy. Grapefruit and ginger dominate the flavor, some lactic notes, a bit salty. A touch of bread in there as well. Lightly acidic. The additives are a bit too pronounced. From cask, it was just too flat (-0.2 or 0.3). It worked much better from the CO2 keg.

Unfortunately - straight from the bottle but I imagine it’s a hazy pale straw. Lemon and lactic yeast aromas. Crisp and tart with marshmallows upfront and turning quite tart in medium length dry, pith finish. Refreshing.
