Bottle shared in Watford - picked up from Etre I think. Not an exploder-gusher. Pours unclear orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, some damp grains, orange peel, a bit of dry biscuits, grass, earth. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Bitter finish, more grains, grass, yeast and citrus peel.

Natural HQ cork and funny cup. Piwo ma fenomenalny aromat anyzu, galki muszkatolowej. Wyglada jak zawsze we wszystkich piwach Fantome spora piana, barwa ciemno pomaranczowa z refleksem brudnego rozu. Bardzo metne w dalszej fazie. Smakowo bardzo ciekawe przyprawowe, ostrawe, czerwony pieprz, melasa, wlasnie na poczatku lekka slodycz cit karmelu, a potem jak gilotyna to wszystko scina pojawia sie kwasowosc, lekka goryczka i nuty octu jablkowegol. Fajne smaczne i tresciwe. Pasowalo do kaszy gryczanej z sosem grzybowym.

Thanks to Kraddel! 750 ml. bottle sampled. Orange, near clear, creamy white head. Nose is weird but not Fantôme level weird soap, BE sugar, esters, bland soap, esters, carrot, sweet grainy, soap, esters, bland very BE, coffee is virtually absent, low coffee maybe in the back,.. Soap & esters body. An uninteresting Belgian, gone are the days of Fantôme true weirdness is my persistent impression, this is just averaging uninteresting BE style beer.

Bottle. Etre Gourmet. Orange amber. Soft haze. Thin, creamy, off white head. Nose has spicy, toffee malts . Lots of rye, maybe. Clove and banana. Some fig and damson. Some demerara sugar. Pretty standard, really. Taste has tannic, grassy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is a little acidic, that sits uneasy with the foamy carbonation. Tannic bitterness to finish. Ok.

Pours clear, dark blonde to amber. Small to medium white head, medium low stability, leaves some lacing. Smell is mild ambermalty, bit phenolic. Taste is sharp, rather bitter, grainy, medium-intense ambermalty. Has an unenjoyable astrigency. medium bitterness. decent beer, free from major flaws, but not overly great.
