Bruxellensis is refermented for several months with a wild Brettanomyces yeast originated in Brussels. Amber with copper reflections, its fruity attack (pineapple, red fruits) is supported by hop flavours in dry hopping, and by complex, almost animal notes of old leather. It then develops a rich malty note with biscuit accents and a persistent fruity/candied flavour. Its finale is dry and bitter, its character is unique.

Bottle at the brewery in Brussels. You can smell the Brussels yeast in the aroma that makes you think of Cantillon et Al. Lovely gold. Apricot gives way to the butch boozy vibes and the yeast. End is filled with the Brussels yeast (slight sweet sherbet sour ending). First sip was i like nahh but it has grown on me. Love it

Bottled 330ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Orange/golden coloured, big creamy white to off-white head, yeasty spicy nose. Yeasty, spicy, light fruity and notes of brett with mild touch of alcohol and rather dry finish.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy amber/orangey color ale with a large white foamy head with excellent retention and some great mount of lacing. Aroma of dry Brett notes with some rustic malt notes and funky ester is quite nice. Taste is a complex mix of dry Brett notes with some rustic malt notes and funky ester with some floral undertones. Solid saison with great combo of complexity and drinkability.

Bottle. Color: Clear orangish amber, large frothy white head. Aroma: Hop, malt, strong leathery Brett funk. Taste: Moderate sweet, very light sour, over moderate bitterness. Starting fruity, malty, leather Brett notes coming in and becoming stronger and stonger towards and at the finish. At the finish, the fruity part almost disappears. Nice leather and medium bitter, very dry finish. The finissh reminds me a bit of Orval, but the start is more fruity. Very nice, especially for Brett lovers like me.

Funky and farmhousey. Otherwise clean, some potent hop character and bitterness. Very bold flavors, cloudy, a bit muddled. More like a powered up saison. Online etre bier (3.5 feb 2020) Tried again online beerwulf bottle. Was a massive gusher, disappointing, but I stand by my previous review
