IBS is our imperialized version of our Breakfast of Champions aged 20 months in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels. Brewed with copious amounts of dark and roasted malts, this is liquid breakfast in your mug- we used an insane amount of locally roasted coffee, Ghanaian cocoa nibs, and local maple syrup rounded by oak and packing a bourbon punch to deliver a beer fitting to start your day off with. You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning, right?

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black, zero head. Nose is nice heavy boozy walnut vanilla, bourbon hazelnut. Taste is upfront weird plastic, strange boozy, hazelnut, vanilla, bit messy, chocolate, nuts,… Plastic syrup body. Overall good stuff but with messy qualities like the plastic, good but imperfect, still quite a bit better than most Voodoo beers tried. Still I do not get the hype.

thnx to 90! Pours black indeed! very little ring of mocha colored head. Smell is very full, medium-high intensity, thick, roasted malts, tad sweet, cocoa, even seems a bit lactic, almost, trough that cocoa. No real maple here, perhaps a tad of coffee. Smells a bit like rye as well ? bourbon and oak have blended in quite good, can be recognized though. Taste is very full, intense roasty, tad sweet, the taste shows light amounts of maple. Roasty, some coffee. The cocoa shows, but it isn't as sweet as I had expected. the barrel is more in the background, including it's bourbon notes which are recognized, but not overpowering. quite a nice impy, Thick body, but no extremes here. low carbo.
