With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Bottle shared at home. Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of big coffee, roast, dark chocolate, cocoa, toffee and caramel. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Really dark brown, big mocha head. Vague toasty and chocolaty aroma, a hint of dark fruit and somewhat vinous. Mild roasted, plain toasted brand, soft chlorophyll bitterness. Ok.

definitely better this time. Strong roasted notes. Coffee. Finishes with a coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. Solid porter in the traditional style. Seems like a whole new recipe. Original review: Pours dark brown from the bottle. The head is frothy and some lacing clings to the glass. Aroma is understated with both mild roasted and cereal notes. The taste has a mild roasted bitterness with some coffee notes. While medium bodied, the palate still feels watery at times. The water has a mineral rich taste. Drank this one after a particularly good stout, so I may be magnifying the flaws, but this one does not quite cut it for me. 2.8

Mer kaffepreg i smaken. Medium fylde. Enda mer kaffe i ettersmaken.

Good porter, deep and viscous with a raisin undertone floating around dark chocolate and a coffee-tinged acidity. Extremely roasty on the back end, finishing dry but a tad spiky in texture. Drinkable as hell.

Stabiler Schaum, in der Nase Röstmalz. Im Trunk Malz, dann bitter, im Abgang deutlich Kaffee, nicht zu schwer.
