This beer was brewed in collaboration with Naparbier of Pamplona, Spain. An easy going 3.8% with a gentle, noble hop character, this refreshingly dry grisette gets its light funk and acidity from mixed fermentation in stainless steel.

Bottle bought @ Etre. Pours hazy very pale yellow with a big fizzy white head that quickly dissipates without leaving and trace on the glass . Smell is slight subtle, slightly fruity and tiny funky with crackers, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, slightly bitter, tiny fruity and floral. Mouthfeel is sparkling, dry, tiny tart and light bodied. Finish is tiny sour with crackers, lemon juice, apricots, hay, dry soil, minerals and lemon zest. Lemonade saison. Refreshing!

Bottle thanks to Leighton at the Tropical Croydonia tasting. It pours cloudy pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is soft, doughy, sweet gooseberry, sherbet, candied citrus, brioche, white sugar and earth. The taste is crisp, tart, sour green apple, lemon sherbet, straw, cracker, limeade, mild soapy citrus, minerals and bitter lemon with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate+ foamy carbonation. Not a whole lot to it, but very easy-going anyhow.

Tropical Croydonia Bottle Share. Thanks to Leighton. Very hazy pale yellow - gold beer. Small white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Light seltzer. Then it’s all Schweppes bitter lemon, but slightly watered down and a touch more bitter. Dry finish. A grower.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours mostly clear yellow with a slight, creamy white head. Nice lemony accents in the nose, some rind, dried wheat. Light sweet flavor with tangy lemon, pale wood, wheat, hay. Light bodied with super lively carbonation. Dry finish, very clean, refreshingly tart, more lemon, wheat. Great stuff overall.

Taste comprises citric peel, green berry zip, gooseberry, straw, peach, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing saison, packs in plenty of flavour for the ABV.
