“HBH Enzo“, Flasche (33 cl) von Getränke Koch, Fulda. - Fast schwarz; dunkler Schaum. - In der Nase sehr trockene, kräftige Röstaromen, Mokka, Asche. - Antrunk trocken und aschig röstmalzig mit kräftigem Mokka. Zarte Restsüße, sehr zarte Säure. Milder rezent, schlank. Im Abgang sehr milde Hopfenherbe und kräftige Kaffeebittere. Etwas dünner Abgang. - Beeindruckendes Bier mit kerniger, gediegener Kaffeenote, dem es an Hopfenherbe fehlt.

Shared bottle, thanks to hauxe. Pours brown with a beige head. Coffee nose. Taste is strong coffee, some roasted malt, vanilla notes. Heavy coffee on this one.

Appearance: Very dark brown, seems clear. Small, dark tan head.
Aroma: Coffee, roasted. Dark malt.
Taste: Coffee, roasted, dark malt. Still seems a bit thin, though.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown ith a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Bitter and slight herbal hoppy. Bitter, roaated and coffee. Dry and slight herbal. Bitter and herbal hoppy.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Minimally metallic, roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of cold coffee, dark bread. Taste is slightly chalky and metallic, roasty dark malty, hints of cold filter coffee; thin and rather watery.

From the bottle. Very dark brown. Aroma is coffee, touch peppery, burnt. Taste is mildly bitter, coffee grounds, a bit of licorice. Body is light for the style. Okay.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As HBH Enzo ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, sweet dark malt, coffee, sugary coffee, coffee maker, light vegetable coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sugary coffee, coffee, sweet malt, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170603] 6-4-7-3-13

Draft at Festival der Bierkulturen, Cologne. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of big coffee, roast, malt and dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at FdB Köln 2017. Hazy, dark brown with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, hazelnut and some licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of lots of coffee, milk chocolate, hazelnut and a touch of vegetables, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, a little dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

BKL2017. Cold coffee aroma. Hazy dark brown. Medium body, chewy. Spicy coffee ground flavor, metallic dark chocolate finish.
