Draft. Exceedingly dark brown, small bright tan head. Jack Daniels completely overwhelms both the aroma and the taste.

On draught at Aces & Ales in Las Vegas. Pours dark brown with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, oaky bourbon and vanilla. The finish is mildly boozy with a roasty malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, smooth mix of bitter chocolate, licorice, and bourbon barrel. In mouth, nice chocolate cherries with bourbon notes, wood and licorice over earming alcohol.

Buffalo Trace aged. Opaque dark brown beer, pale tan head. Nice toffee caramel nose. Palate is light and semi crisp. Taste follows the nose. Mellow dark malt with rich caramel, a little toffee and mild minerals. Mild tang. Pretty mellow whisky. Good stuff!

Tap. Pours opaque brown with a small tan head and some lacing. Aroma is bourbon, cocoa powder, and dark roasted malt with a light coffee note. Flavor is the same, quite smooth with light sweetness and no real bitterness other than a very light coffee aftertaste. Medium body and a warming finish that was a bit surprising for the relatively low ABV.

Bomber, courtesy of daknole, at the Black Friday Tasting pours mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate chip cookies, some chocolate brownie, vanilla, ribbons of dark roasted maltiness and then smooth bourbon booze. The taste is smooth with a mix of chocolate brownie, black strap molasses, dark roasted malts, vanilla and boozy bourbon. This is pretty darn smooth and attains a nice balance between the remaining beer notes and the barrel notes.
