Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Clear yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, grains, lightly hay and some smoke. Lightly bitter finish, average body, average to medium carbonation.

750ml bottle. Sparkling pale golden colour, white foam head and aroma of smoke, wheat, fruity, tangy, funk. Taste is smokey & wheaty with some sour fruity notes, citric rind, yeasty, barnyard, and spicy light bitterness. Light bodied, fine carbonation, sourish & straw at the finish. Very drinkable.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Clear, golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with apples and other sweet-tart fruits, pale malts. Taste is slightly bitter. Medium body. Finishes dry and fruity with spices.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and grapefruity hoppy. Smooth fruity and crisp hoppy. Smooth fruity and lingering crisp hoppy and peachy. Smooth fruity. Toasted and crisp fruity finish.

Aroma has sweet and soapy citrus and mild cereal. Flavour has strong citrus, tart notes and some mild lemonade tones. A citrusy wit - reminds me of some lemonade-like Belgian ones.

250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy golden, big quickly fading egg-white head. Mellow sweetish smoked wheat nose mixed with big sweet gelatin candy, sweet candy, wheat, plastic, a combination that doesn’t make any sense to me. Taste is very odd mixture that doesn’t work for me, like gummy bears, sweet candy with smoked plastic, lingering plastic, faint almost vaguely peat smoked wheat, lingering odd smoked plastic aftertaste mixed with the heavy gelatin candy sweetness, soda, odd mix, lingering plastic finish that reminds me of bitter plastic, peach, plastic wheat,… Very odd mix flavors that really don’t jell for me,… Overly carbonated. Doesn’t work for me, I had higher hopes.

Big white head. Clear yellow body with strong carbonation. Bready buttery smoky aroma with fruity dusty notes. Well, that’s certainly unique. Sweetish strawy smoky bready taste with banana notes. Mid-to-light body. Soft, mild, fluffy mouthfeel. Sweetish fruity mealy banana aftertaste with herbal earthy notes. An excellent beer. Really different, vivid, easy-drinking, and full of flavour. (0.65l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)
