Brewed as a traditional India Pale Ale. A highly hopped, medium-bodied, higher alcohol ale. This is a true hop-head beer. Generous portions of Northern Brewer, Centennial and Cascade hops complete this beer.

A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, light floral hops, with some biscuitty malts. In mouth, a classic and more British intepretation with pungeant hops and grapefruits developing later, nutty notes, medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, May 24 2010.

Tap @ TBBC Pours amber, white head. Aroma and flavor, bitter hops, some warming caramel and citrus, spice elements with some pine. Also some hints of lemongrass making this one a refreshing IPA. Hints of grapefruits with a light bitter finish.

Light amber coloured body with an orange glow and a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops - very nice aroma throughout! Medium-bodied; Nice & Bittering tastes of hops up front, complete with a good malt backbone. Aftertaste shows tons more hops - bittering and long lasting. Overall, better than most IPAs from a brewpub and better than a lot of bottled IPAs! I prefer this one to the I2PA also available at the brewpub! I sampled this beer on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s Brewpub in Tampa (Ybor City), Florida on 10 November 2007.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Woodsy, floral, citrus aroma with pot tones. Woodsy, citrus, light caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Citrus lingering with wood turning to a bit of twiggy pine. Disapointing. Needs more bitterness.

On tap @ Tampa Bay Brewing Company (they’ve re-opened). Golden color with creamy white head. A sheet of lacing clings to the glass. Light aroma that seems to be more malty than hoppy. Full pine hop flavor with a nice caramel malt backbone. The brew leaves a lingering pine hop taste behind.

Better at the brewery than the GABF, where I first had it. Hazy light amber. Spicy hop nose with orangey, grapefruity notes. Rich creamy body and insistent hop bitterness. Wood & citrus goodness. Very dry. Delicious.
