Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, grainy malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short resiny hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light amber coloured body with a copper hue. Light-bodied; Shallow flavour of fresh hops up front with a bit of malt, but not enough to hold up to the end. Aftertaste is mild with only a bit of the hops showing through. Overall, a bit sub-par for brewpub-based APAs, but not a horrible beer. If you want real hops, go with the normal IPA! I sampled this beer on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s Brewpub in Tampa (Ybor City), Florida on 10 November 2007.

Bright golden amber with a nice thick head. Slightly woody, caramelly nose. Has a woody hop taste, nice bread balance, creamy body and a dry finish with a zesty citrus note.
