A hazed dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of pumpkin spices, light soapy notes, orange pulp, so-so. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light herbal hops, loads of spices, cloves, light pizza spices, so-so. Bottle at Hugue and Alex tasting.

Pours deep dark, amber to brown. Good white head. Smell is bit bitter. i can recognize some pumpkin, but i really have to search for it. Taste is sharp, bitter, pumpkin-like ’sweet’ side almost. Not a sweet beer though ! surprisingly bitter, candy-like aftertaste. Weird. not like any pumpkin beer I drank before.

03-11-16 // tap at the brewery. Pours a deep amber coloured beer with a small white head. One of the better pumpkin beers I had. Only light spices in the finish. Malty sweetness paired with a pumpkin taste. Light herbal bitterness.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy orange brown with a small off white head. Aroma of light spices, pumpkin, vege notes, a bit dull. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

22/11/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from Malt Attacks, Brussels. Amber to brown colour, nice white head. Nose is malty, fruity, caramel, yeast, spices. Taste : fruits, some spices, roasted hints in the back, caramel, something metallic, bitter ending. A pity of the metallic tones, but all in all a nice and bit original beer.

Tasting glass draft @ the brewpub. Dark brown (I think – little light), small tanned head. Nose is overly metallic, BE (not pumpkin) spices, licorice, herbal, BE cough syrup. Taste is weirdly metallic with medicinal BE herbs, leaves, herbal, BE cough syrup, licorice. Thin metallic syrup body. No pumpkin spices, no noticeable pumpkin, on top far too metallic, medicinal herbs, cough syrup etc. Rather disappointing given that I actually love pumpkin beers. Didn’t like this one.

Draft @ BPP grandopening day, shared with Tderoeck. Certainement la meilleure bière à la citrouille ’made in Belgium’.
