12oz bottle Pours out a cloudy amber with very little to no head. A nice spice and yeast aroma on this one. Thanks Jake65

Bottle pours a clear light amber with a small beige head. Light sweet malty aroma. Flavor was sweet honey and a slight Belgian note. Light and soft. Tasty.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Tart aroma with some yeast. Quite a full body with a light acidity, some yeast and fruit and a surprisingly bitterness considering it being Belgian style. 291206

bottle - The label calls this brew an American tripel. I’d say it’s closer to a Belgian tripel than a strong ale. Every Belgian strong ale I’ve had thus far is a darker ale with dark fruit notes, rather than the citrus of this ale. But anyway, it pours a hazy gold with an average head. The light aroma is of citrus and yeast. Citrus, malt, and candi sugar carry the flavor. The finish is pleasantly warming and the alcohol is well masked. This is nice, another excellent ale from Bell’s.

Light amber color... lighter at the bottom, darker on top. Big frothy off white head. Aromas are fruity and floral with a yeasty addition. Incredible lacing. Flavor is heavy of fruit, yeast and sweet malt with some nice spicy notes that fill in the aftertaste (clove and coriander). Mouthfeel is both dry and heavy... maybe a little yeasty/chalky, but not obnoxiously so. Nice brew, thanks Matt.

Bottle pours a cloudy bright orange color with little head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is fruity, sour and grassy. Flavor is tart and sour with spices and fruit throughout. The alcohol is pretty well hidden but it does have a nice crisp alcoholic finish to it. A very interesting and tasty brew.

Bottled, 5 months old. Ligtht beer in appearance, like a Duvel, with the Belgian style whipped eggs-style head and the smell of sugar. Yellow body shows soome particulate suspended in it. Taste is a bit tart and frothy, like small apples and a bit of pear. Bubbles definitely make it quite fizzy. It still comes across as a little bit "off" to me, but maybe that’s the flavor they were shooting for in the forst place.

A hazy orange beer with a fast disappearing white head. The aroma is dominated by aroma hops and grass - it’s like sticking your head in a hop bush. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol and a lot of aroma hops. The mouthfeel is a little sticky.

Ah how deceptive a name can be. The name does not inspire but he beer inside is fantastic. My only complaint is that price keeps me from getting this one as much as I would prefer. +++Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a rich orange-golden color with a huge creamy orange head. The head lingered for a long time and had nice lacing. The aroma was strong, sweet, fruity, malty and had a hint of spice. The flavor was identical to how it smelled and had a nice thick mouthfeel. Wonderful.

I can’t believe I had to go to Stockholm to get this one. That’s just weak. Sedimented golden amber. Aroma of flowery hops and peachy esters and sweet pale malts. Slightly spritzy. Some peachy notes. Sweet, flowery finish.
