My bottle has a much prettier shape than the one pictured. Better label too. Smell is sweet pumpkin dough. Certainly tastes much higher in alky than 4% fer sure. Decent co2. Comes across like an english malty beer. Yes, it sure does. If you think of those styles, malty english beers with that old flavor, you got this pegged. Punkin is more prevalent in the smell. I really want to like these punky beers but few really are great.

Draft. Amber color, beige head. Aroma of pumpkin pie. Taste is spice >> gourd. Middle of the road for a pumpkin beer.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly pumpkin pie spice (nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon). The taste does not hold up nearly as well as the aroma, as there is not a whole lot of "pumpkin" flavor. It’s good as a "harvest" ale, but expected a bit more from the pumpkin. Still, it’s good for what it was within the bottle.

Orange copper with a white head. Toasty malts, pumpkin, light vegetal aroma. Flavor is the same. Vegetal flavors put me off this one.

Purchased a 12 oz bottle @ Julio’s Liquors, Westborough MA. Used a lager glass. Clear amber color with light carbonation. Nose of Pumpkins spice. Solid head and decent lacing down the glass. Taste is very much as expected, spice with pumpkin and a malt backbone. Real easy to drink if you like the style. Not over-done with spice, A bit above average.

Sample at the Midwest Brewers’ Festival. My first choice of beer at this fest. May be an odd choice, but after a summer of wheats and saisons, I’m ready to dive into a true fall style. Nice amber pumpkin beer color -- yes, we now know the color of a pumpkin beer -- and a little foam up top. A nice, spicy holiday nose, just the thing to put me in mind of autumn when it’s still sunny and 80F here. Taste has some pumpin pie spice, and little vegetal flavor that benefits from being roasted. Very smooth drinking. Not to thick; just a good, sessionable fall beer (I didn’t know when I took my notes that this was a Utah-friendly 4% abv).

12oz bottle courtesy of douglas88. Pours clear copper with tan head. The aroma is sweet with malts and peppered with winter spices, pumpkin and crystal malts. The taste starts off both sweet and spicy with sweet malts mixing with winter spices like cinnamon. Toward midway a faint pulse of grainy malts helps usher in modest pumpkin notes as this thing heads off into oblivion.

Crisp, bright copper coloured body with bright orange highlights and a thin, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of very potent pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, caramel and nuts. Light-bodied; Very mild pumpkin pie flavours at first with some mellow malt, some minor caramel sweetness but a very underwhelming flavour throughout. Aftertaste is bland to say the least - almost no taste aside from a minor pumpkin taste and a slight caramel sweetness, but fairly mild and cardboardie malt shows up. Overall, a pretty mild beer with some minor tastes and mellow flavours - no complexity at all. I sampled this twelve ounce stubby bottle purchased from Bon Vivant Market in Smithfield, Virginia on 14-October-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 16-October-2010.

Bottle from Supermarket Liquors. Pours amber with a foamy off-white head. Nutmeg/pie spice aromas. Medium body with mildly foamy carbonation. Flavor is mostly spice, but it’s low enough that I think I can get some punkin/squish/veg. Finishes spice.
