Made with hops grown in the good ’ol USA... you’ll proudly support American farmers when you drink beer! Light copper in color, it has an intense hop aroma and strong hop bitterness. Our hopback process uses fresh hop cones to take this IPA to unexpected placed. Prepare for a mouthful of flavor.

4 month old bottle A: Pale orange gold pour with a persistent snow white head. Light haze and a few bits of sediment. S: Orange, pine and pronounced caramel sweetness. T: Light bitterness of orange, pith and light pine. Like the nose, lots of wood and caramel malt sweetness to balance, dominating the hops. M: Medium light with average amount of soft carbonation and clean finish. O: I expected maltiness at 7% but this is almost too sweet, like a DIPA. Of course hops pop more when fresh so worth a revisit.

Bottle are the Olde Pink House in Savannah. Pours a cloudy orange color with a nice, foamy of white head and light lacing. Has a slightly hoppy aroma of spice and pine hops. Light fruit notes. Smooth mouthfeel with a mid dry finish. A nice beer.

12 oz bottle at The Olde Pink House in Savannah, Georgia. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is citrus hop, grain malt all a bit faint. The taste is the citrus hop, decent resin and cereal grain malt behind that. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral earth finish. Solid.

Crisp, very hazy bronze coloured body with a decent two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of fresh grassy and bready hops with a good yeast and malt nose, some alcohol and a touch of citrus and sugars at the finish. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and dry note up front with a good hop flavour but no malt backbone to speak of at all, just a PNW hop kick at first but nothing supporting it and no depth at all. Aftertaste shows a subdued grass note, hints of the hops but little else - no complexity and no depth here, which is too bad. Overall, a good smelling and nice tasting beer initially, but this fades fast and only a shell of a beer is left. Decent to try, but there are much better examples of the style to try than this one. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 27-July-2014 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 18-August-2014.

Some citrus and some sweet malt but comes together with a tinge of acridness that puts me off. On tap at DC Summerfest.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Tropical fruity, a bit woody, a bit papery aroma. A little twangy. Kind of dusty / cardboard-y flavor. Plenty of citrus. Moderate to high sweetness. High bitterness. Not in the best shape but I’m still not a huge fan.

On tap at Shaw’s Tavern DC. Pours a hazy orange with some fizzy white head. Nose is soap, grapefruit, pine, orange, some kefir lime. Flavor is bracing with bitterness, blood orange, kumquat, pine, malt, grass, nettles. Full bitter finish. Could be a little more nuanced.
