Smell of coffee, licorice. Very dark brown colour, high dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, licorice, chocolate. Soft but very plentiful carbon. Palate is soft, foamy, slightly viscous. Bitter. Mid-heavy body.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Coffee, vanilla, coco aand a faint hint of spice in the aroma. Roasted, earthy and slightly sweet taste with notes of vanilla, coffee, chocolate and raisins detected.

330 ml. bottle sampled thanks to tderoeck! BBF 27112016. Dark brown, faint amber hue. Nose carries a faint vinous quality mixed with mocha, cacao, basic sweetness, simple mocha sweetness dominates a bit, low simple coffee. Taste is overly dry, chalky roasted charcoal coffee, dry mocha, thin, grainy, light mocha, sugar. Very dry, overly ashy raw coffee, overly so & unbalanced for me to really enjoy. To bad, nice name & blur.

Thnx to Tderoeck , pours very dark brown. Smell is dry, bit roasted malts, bit plastic. taste is dark malts, creamy, bit metallic. Ok, some bitter sidenotes.

Bouteille de 33cl de SIP, Tallinn. Batch#029, BB 27.11.2018. Brune foncée, col fin café au lait. Arôme est centré sur la malté, grillé, fruité noir avec une touche de café qui n’est pas spécialement bien rendue, retrouve un côté caramel allemand virant sur le mélanoïde, trop doux. Rétro de cuir. Palais est légèrement grillé, douceur perdurante accompagnée d’un malt caramel. Crème de café est plus le cas avec une petite note aigrelette. Pointe de soja, ’stale’ café, trop doux pour moi.

Clear dark brown beer, solid creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, lots of chocolate, some coffee, bit of vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish touch, coffee, some caramel, sweet, roasted, bitter hops. Aftertaste: coffee, alcohol, overripe fruits, bit sweet, pretty roasted, mocha, bit of dark chocolate.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - dark brown to black with a nice lacy head. Nose - coffee bean and light chocolate and toffee notes. Thinner than the regular version. Taste - toffee and coffee. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy texture. Overall - nice stout if a little thinner than the usual version.

330ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb and Stuu666. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, light toffee. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.
