Marketed in the US as Tropic Punch.
Tropic Thunder is a joint effort with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. We brewed this sour ale with lactobacillus and let it ferment with plentiful mango, passion fruit and peach. Sweet!
There's a simple and straight forward story to this not so simple and straight forward beer. The idea was that we wanted to make a beer that tastes like a popsicle. A beer as refreshing as those ice cold, fruity treats we loved as kids. And you know what, we succeeded!

On tap at Valhalla, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Hazy pale golden, small off-white head. Wonderful fruity, tropical, candy and wild note. Malts and hops subdued. Very sour and puckering with a rich fruity flavour. Candy-like finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation, sharp, very refreshing. A bit off-balance.

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Yellow coloured, minimal white head, pure tropical fruits (mango dominates) in the nose. Tropical fruits, mango, light spicy and tartish notes with notes of grapefruit in sourish finish. Pleasant one but a bit too tropical for my taste.

Tap at Valhalla. Hazy yellow body, white head. Huge mango aroma, some... Orange? Lovely mango juice taste, solid tartness. Fantastic tropical fruitiness, tropical fruit tea. Excellent taste, but a bit too lean and tart, just a touch. Love it but can't rate it higher.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of canned peaches and pineapple, light mineral notes, light acidity, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of Fuzzy Peach candy, canned pineapple, light acidity, very nice. On tap at L'autre oeil.

Bottle, 4.5%. Peach aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is nicely citric with a mild peach note. Also some peach in the finish. But still smells more of peach than it tastes. (Too) dry finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, mostly peaches and mango, with notes og malt. Dry, vinous flvour with notes of mango and peach and touches of malt. Estery aftertaste with dry notes and hints of malt and fruit. Decent.

On tap at Kisipa, pours a hazy golden blonde with no head. Aroma brings out passionfruit, with some lemon and citric hops. Flavour is like fruit juice, with citric notes, heaps of passionfruit, and some light tartness. Very tropical fruity. Nice stuff.
