Bottle. RAD Beer. Hazed, burnished gold. Thin and dense, lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has bretty, cheese cloth, funk. White wine dregs. Sour, white grape. Lemon juice and rind. Some pink grapefruit. Touch of banana and sweet grain. Taste is tart, vinous, and slightly drying. Plenty of grapefruit bitterness. Sharp, clean and dry on the palate. Spritzy carbonation. Drinks way easy, considering everything that’s going on. Tart, sharp and light bitterness to finish. Nice one. Lots to come here, too. Be interesting to crack one in a year or two.

Bottle shared at De La Senne. It pours hazy golden - orange with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is musty, funky, grape, barnyard, white bread, berry skin, grapefruit, vanilla, vinous, sherbet, gooseberry and oak. The taste is firmly dry, tart, tangy, lactic, good mouth - pucker, vinous, white grape, musty, gooseberry, granny smith apple, must, funk, bright acidity, earth and wood with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Good depth of flavour and funk. Tart, tangy and bright. Pretty tasty stuff.

750 ml bottle, vintage 2017, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Beguiling aroma of spicy saison yeast, white wine oak barrels and lambic / brettanomyces / farmhouse. Moderately sour flavour, again notes of spicy saison yeast, oaked wine and brettanomyces, also lemons and distinct spicy hops. Excellent beer - expensive, but worth it.

Bottleshop. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Very slight acid, really not much. Nice lemon and orange. Tart lemon peel. Lemon sherbet. Slightly bitter finish. Very nice lemon.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey. Pours clear gold with a small, creamy white head. The nose holds moderate woody funk, juicy lemon, grass. Light sweet flavour with clean and quenching acidity, more lemon, grassy hops, a little hay, pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Super quenching in the finish, with mild sweetness, more bright and tart lemon character, balancing grassy bitterness, woody dryness. Wow, this one's fantastic. Exceptional depth, and hugely drinkable.
