50cl bottle from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. An amber pour with a ring of white head; caramel aroma with some gentle English hops; malty caramel taste, with a light grassy bitterness; and a lingering caramel finish. A straightforward English bitter.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a nice smooth malt, hoppy bitter, light citrus palate, Medium bodied with average carbonation. As far as session bitters go, this one is pretty good.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours clear amber brown with a light tan head. Aroma of caramel, malt and some ripe dark fruit. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle and at Cotteridge Wines Brum with Sarky and Rich. Clear mid brown colour lasting white head. Toffee candy sugar aroma. Ok some hop on finish. Decent best bitter.

Bottle at Cotteridge Wines Tasting Room; clear light copper pour with a white frothy white head, dark fruit aroma, taste has caramel, dark fruits with some roasted malts.

330ml bottle @ the Fourth Shrewsbury Bottle Share April 2014, courtesy of Luc. Likin the feather - nice touch. Pours dark amber. Some definite dark fruits coming into play alongside a subtle earthiness. Fairly inoffensive 3.8%er.

Bottle, shared at the fourth Shrewsbury bottle swap. Liked the feather stuck to the bottle by the front label. Poured a rich autumn gold, even if it was April, the head was off-white and didn’t last long. Initially I jokingly said it was dry and tasted like it had dark fruits from the hedgerow to the others: actually I wasn’t far off in that description of the brew because my initial thoughts stayed with me through the tasting. I tried to like it.

Cask handpump at the Bree Louise - London . Pours clear, deep russet-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has some juicy farts and old berries. Light sweet flavor with leathey berries, a bit of bready malt base and slight leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. More aged fruits and berries to finish, a bit of diaper poo, some leaves, brown bread. A little awkward at times but not terrible.
