Bottle shared at the CBC Islington for the Matteo farewell tasting. Huge thanks to matteo for this one. Aroma is sweet apple, woody, brandy, cinnamon, orange peel. Madeira, cinnamon apple pie. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, marzipan spice. Flavour is composed of sweet cakey malts, soft roast, apple and coconut. Very good.

Bottle shared in London / big thanks to Matteo! Pours clear deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Nice aroma, some ripening berries, toasted toffee, coconut. Medium to big sweet flavour with nice oily coconut character, mellow slices, milk chocolate, mild earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Quite smooth on the finish, with more coconut, molasses, mellow ripening berries, creamy chocolate, a little toffee. Great stuff overall. Effortlessly drinkable.

Sample from 75 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin, off white head. Sweet aroma with cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, peppers, dark malts and fruits. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture. Finishes dry and fruity with spicy notes. Excellent spiced up Stout.

Bottle@yesprs - (Massive thanks to Matt for the Trade) - pours black with a think beige head. Aroma and taste comprises prominent notes of sweet malt with resonating apple brandy infused wooden nuances, great spicy profile with cross section of cinnamon and nutmeg with well judged and balanced chilli integration, sweet malty apple brandy soaked finish. Gorgeous.
