A naturally cloudy ‘session style’ Apricot wheat beer to celebrate longer days and the return of the sun. Golden Promise, wheat and acidulated malt were used in the mash along with Citra T90 hops in whirlpool to create a smoothly fruity base. Fermented with a classic German Hefeweizen yeast (WLP300) along with 1000Kg of fresh Apricot to deliver flavours of banana and clove with a nectarous, tart finish.

Cask @ Common, Manchester. Hazy blonde coloured. The apricot gives it a bubble-gum type sweetness which is quite stated in its nose.

hazy bright yellow colour, minimal white head; aroma and taste of wet wheat and bread, citruses, slight banana and overripe peach (ok, it seems to be surprising based on its name, but still, this is the first time when I can distinguish apricot and pear clearly...I think... ☺); maybe some coriander can also be felt; good one

Keg at Euston Tap. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, apricot, tangy, tangerine, Irn Bru bar, wheat, dull smoke cheese. The taste is crisp, soft, mellow sweetness, fresh apricot, orange peel, tangerine, fruity tang, marmalade, wheat and bread. Finish is soft and fruity. Soft, fruity and seasonable. Not too shabby.

Keg at CBC Islington with Henrik. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some citrus fruits, jammy apricot. Light-medium sweet flavour with more apricot, some pae bread, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance, further jammy apricot, low bitterness, very slight tartness, some tangerine. Fun stuff.

Keg at the Euston Tap, East Lodge, 03/03/17. Lightly hazed yellow golden with a decent off white head. Nose is straw, grains, light apricot, toasted bread, wheaten notes. Taste comprises light citric shreds, apricot Wheaties, bread, straw, light spice, touch of yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Doesn’t set my beer world alight but imagine this would be a good summer refresher.
