A: mandarin peel, grape, kiwi, melon, tonic.
T: sweetish grape, bitter citrus peel, bit sourish citrus.
F: bitter grassy & piney hops, yeast, grapefruit, tonic.
P: medium body, slick texture, average-fizzy carbonation.
Enjoyable, just a tiny bit unclean.

Troebele geel oranje kleur, een kleine witte schuimkraag. Geur van hars, citrus, beetje meloen, iets zoetig. In de mond staat de hars voorop. Smaak is behoorlijk bitter, gronderig. Lichte body. Lange, gronderige, bittere nasmaak.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy yellow golden colour, small frothy white head, slowly dissipating, good lacing. Aroma pale malt, orange, tangerine, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, hop resin. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, bit peppery on the tongue, nice.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at Abirradero. Fruit witbier with blackberries. Orange colour. Refreshing, fruity (blackberries and orange peel), mildly spicy (coriander), nice beer. Would happily sample again.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Orange bodied with a thin white head. Mixed bag of berries in the nose sprinkled with spent grains. The taste is also red berries to the fore, slight herbal trace too. Didn’t take to this at all for some reason, not sure the blend of wheat, barley and rye married together too well.
