Keg at the Norwich Tap House, 16/02/17. Clear golden with a decent white head. Nose is light bread, tangerine, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, lemon rind, straw, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light dose of hop bitterness. Drinkable but pedestrian for the style in this day and age.

Tap at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, doughy biscuit, light citrus, hop bitter. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry yeasty, light pepper spice, light fruit palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg tap at Butch Annie’s. Golden brown, clear with visible carbonation but not much head. Pear drops, grapefruit and a hint of pine in the aroma. Simple but lovely. Balanced bittersweet in the finish with citrus hops to the fore. Some gummy resin in the aftertaste. Fuller body than would be expected. Very nice for the ABV.

Keg at Craft Beer Rising 2014 - Brick Lane, London. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. OK stuff, but it doesn’t really ’sing’. Dry pine, pale bread, grapefruit and tangerine. Light rindy citrus bitterness, some grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Good balance in the finish, light grassy hops, dry pale malts. Pretty decent overall.

330ml bottle from beermerchants.com. Pours amber with medium white head. Nose is bitter, malty and a touch salty. Taste is not good at all. Bitter, off-flavours, dank wet dog and a touch of sour even.. something definitely not quite right here.

Keg at Lyric. It pours clear amber with medium white head. The nose is freshly cut grass, hay, creamy, some tropical fruits and five alive fruit juice. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, grassy, toasty grain, citrus rind, straw and a touch of sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and creamy mouth-feel. Nice balance and good drinkability. Nice session stuff.
