All our ales are cask conditioned and made using only the finest local sourced ingredients, including traditionally floor-dried, locally produced malts.
Despite its low strength this ale is full of flavour and has character beyond its ABV. Medium golden amber in colour, it has a well balanced flavour enhanced with lots of English Goldings hops.
A great tasting session beer.

Bottle from LCB. BBE in 8 months. Clear gold with small white wispy head. Aroma is bready and occasional biscuit noted malt with a citric cut through and light fusty character. Taste of grains, biscuit, wood with a floral hop that has an edge of citrus and resin. Light to medium bodied, semi-crisp zing, reasonable bitterness. Nothing complex but nice finish.

(Cask at Lyric, Soho, London, 13 May 2024) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and wheat crackers. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, peaches, biscuits and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Light body, quite dry. Light and refreshing, with a fresh hop profile. Nice one.

Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. Mostly clear gold with a decent lasting white froth. Light sweet lemon and orange, bit of floral herb, on top of sweet buttery biscuit malt. Some sweetness here but it’s also nicely bitter and crisp. Light body with fine brisk carbonation. Herbal floral citrus bitterness to finish. Good hote golde.

Creamy white head on a pale golden coloured body. Fruity citrus aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy thinning out to a clean back. Floral, light citrus, bubble gum & lightly hopped tastes. Nondescript.
