Cask @ Jubilee Refreshment Rooms, Sowerby Bridge. Slighlty paler golden with a frothy head. Has a hoppy character, somewhat dry but more than palatable given its light enough texture.

Cask at the Earl of Essex, 16/12/14. Clear golden with a moderately appointed off white head. Nose is juicy citrus, melon, orange peel, straw, hoppy pangs. Taste comprises light pine, citric sherbets, bubblegum, chalky mineral notes, straw, tangerine. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hoppy GB.

Hazy gold beer, good fluffy white head. Palate is light and slightly soft. Fine carbonation. Light airy creamy malt. Good hops, pretty bitter too - yellow grapefruit and grapefruit pith. Trace of floral pine, but the bitter grapefruit dominates. Finishes smooth with a long bitter linger. No Mallinsons soap in this one!

Taste is malt caramel with juicy floral citrus with lemon-lime and grapefruit bitterness. Smoothish mouthfeel, light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, drying lingering grapefruity bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Pale gold pour with a white head. Vanilla, citrus and pear aroma. Quite dry. Strong citrus kick. Lots going on in there. Long hop finish. Nice.
