The balance of opposites proves delicious in this oak barrel-aged sour blonde ale. Brewed with bright raspberries and fresh rhubarb, this ale serves up nostalgic characters of jammy sweetness splendidly balanced with crisp tartness and herbal and floral notes. Ruebarb is a classic treat sliced up in Terreux fashion.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very fruity with large raspberry and rhubarb notes. Light oak notes with a bit of citrus and acidity. Raspberry is more prevalent upfront, but then the rhubarb takes over and hides the raspberry. Pours a slightly hazy, pinkish red with a slight orange hue an a medium large, fairly thick, slightly pink head that steadily recedes to the edges where it lingers. No lacing or legs. Flavor is fairly acidic but not super sharp. Light citrus notes with quite a bit of rhubarb. Lighter raspberry notes with a bit of oak. Light tannins. Faint malt notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice sour. It reminds me a lot of Windowsill which was a great beer. The raspberry and rhubarb work well together. The light malt presence adds a nice, light complexity as does the oak.

750ml bottle thanks to darrel. pours out a pinkish color topped with a small head. nose is nice berries oak some nice tartness citrus and the rhubarb. Taste is more of the tart berries a nice oak barrel treatment. I really like when they make sours that are in the 5-7% range much better then the 13% garbage.

Tasting at Mr Smith’s Skyflat. Hazy peach - red - pink beer, small pale pink head. Nose of rhubarb and candy fruits. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. A touch of lemon acid but plenty of floral fruity rhubarb keeps it in check. A stinging carbonated nip of a finish. Tart but nicely fruity.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Mitch. Pours unclear pink with a creamy white head. Great aroma, lots of tart berries, rhubarb, cherry. Light sweet flavor with bracing acidity, lemons, raspberry, rhubarb. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation, cutting tartness on the finish, sturdy acidity, more berries. Very good beer.
