Handpull cask at Brood @ Vin Quatre. Golden with a slight reddish hue. Hazy as hell. Herbal and soapy notes accompany the tropical fruit scent. Bittersweet taste, really chewy malts with astringent hop in the finish. It's a nice enough beer even if the balance is a bit off.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 April 2017) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of grainy malt, citrus, grapefruit and slightly piney hops. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, dried apricots, orange peel, resin, pine needles and and generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with a generous hop presence. Nice one

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Hazed amber with a small head, it’s hoppy in it taste, with a fruitiness more dominant in its nose.

Cask handpull at Craft Covent Garden. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Good earthy hops on the flavour. They do an intensity of hops no doubt. Some tangerine satsuma. Earthy fruit though. Otherwise it’s a decent pale ale.

On tap at Vibrant Forest, Lymington, Hampshire, Saturday 11th March 2017 Pours gold, hazy gold with a white sticky head. Chinook comes through well, steady bitterness throughout. Soft in the mouth, juicy hoppiness, slight drying at the end. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Draught at the Holborn whippet, London. A huge hop hit which was nice and very strong grapefruit bitterness which was a but overpowering.
