Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. (I really hope these don’t go under, with the parent company in trouble. Nice shop, with very pleasant staff). Hazed, beetroot juice red. Film and ring of pink foam. Nose has cherry lips sweets. Black cherry yoghurt. Cherry stone. Big on the cherry, then. Taste is a little tart, with a soft, lacto sweetness. Light body, with foamy carbonation. More cherry to finish, with a tart twang.

On tap at Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge. Hazy red cherry colour lasting pink head. Woody sourness. Some stone fruit pit flavour. Funky farmhouse sour flavour and some cherry. Fruit isnt over arching. Shame really. It's ok but a big too raw and kettle sour for me. Needs more authentic funk. Oh for Boon Oude Kriek. Cherry flavour gives it a higher score. Raw. Uncouth.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours a rather attractive, dark and mostly clear red, with a modest, frothy pink head. Nice aroma, moderate cherry notes, some lemon, acid. Light-medium sweet flavour with a little jammy cherry character, then plenty of cutting acidity, tart cherries, more lemon, very slight grass. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Quite clean on the finish, lightly drying, with more tart lemon and cherry, low bitterness, quenching acidity. Very good sour.

Keg at BD Xoho, 17/08/17. Cherry red with a crimson cap. Nose carries a solid cherry tang, damp straw, mellow funk, earthy berry. Taste falls away from the nose comprising light barnyard strains, cherry skins, apple core, red grape, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering rasp. Ok sour.

Keg at BD Soho. It pours cloudy bright red with a tiny white head. The aroma is tangy, juicy, sour candy, cherry, red berry, jam, bit of tomato ketchup, touch of vomit and acidity. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, sour red berry, cherry, gijinha, mouth - pucker, granny smith apple, quite a bit of acidity, celery, raspberry pip and wood with a drying and cherry skin finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Looks the real deal, but found it a bit muddled. Not the best in the series so far.
