Brewed with a base of Pale Ale and Caragold malt, American Fall is a 4.0% malty Golden Ale with a balanced biscuit sweetness. This is then off set with New World hops from America. Lemon Drop and Sorachi Ace hops contribute citrusy, fruity herbal characters to the beer.

500ml bottle; BB 1st Dec 19. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 24th Nov 18. Light golden body, clear and clean; sadly the white head just disappeared straight away. Citrus lead in both the nose and taste, malty base tries to give some sweetness, but the citrusy hops rule the flavours from start to finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Waitrose Canary Wharf. Pours crystal clear gold with a foamy, pure white head. Quite crisp and easy-drinking, with some sun-kissed pale malts, mellow English yeast, accents of leafy hops, grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further relaxed grassy bitterness, more bready malts. Nothing to complain about here, really.

50cl bottle from Waitrose, Wokingham. A bright pale amber pour with a thin white head; earthy biscuit malt aroma; bitter hoppy taste with a biscuity malt base; some lemon and then a resinous earthy finish that gives a burning sensation in the mouth. Something different from Fuller's.

Clear, deep golden colored, small off white head, non lasting. Aroma is malty, biscuit and some toffee, fruity notes, some fruity and herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit and light toffee, fruity and grassy herbal hops, bit lemongrass and light coconut, medium bitterness, dryish finish. Medium- bodied, soft- carbonation, bit watery. Doesn't really have an american feel to it... (cask)
