33cl can from the brewery shop, Gloucester Docks. A hazy golden amber with a billowing off-white head; muted tropical fruit aroma; oily in the mouth with some resinous hops and sweet fruit; and a satisfying full finish with well hidden alcohol.

Hackney Bottleshare. Can from Dan the man! Hazy orange - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, trace of grain. Fairly bitter and dry citric pith, little orange peel. Dry piney pithy finish. A little pithy but it's not bad.

Cask @ Mr Foleys, Leeds. Copper-gold with a frothy head. Its strength dominates an otherwise hoppy and dry tasting ale.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Osprey. Pours hazy orange with a creamy, white head. The nose holds flinty stones, citrus peel, pale wood. Light sweet flavour with lots of flinty minerality, orange peel, pale grains. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with some pine, more minerals, peach, dried grains. So so overall.

330ml can from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma: strong dried / red berry fruits, sugar, slight woody/piney/resin note. Taste: like the aroma getting a lot of fruitiness, red berry fruits specifically, some sugary sweetness, resin, woody bitter finish, slight alcohol taste. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Slightly odd sweetness to this.
At 7.5% this is only just qualifying itself as a DIPA, drinks more like a strong IPA. The fruitiness is different from most and it’s not really to my tastes, very different from the tasting notes given on the can. Gloucester’s first effort at a DIPA has a lot of room for improvement.
