19 May 2019. At SWAFFF!, Brussels. Cheers Anke, Erwin & Ama Deke! 11% edition, 2019 perhaps? Clear dark golden-orange, lasting, thin, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of white grapes, wood, young apple & apricot, banana peel, sourdough, sour milk. Taste is light fruity sweet, some apple & pear, evolving a funkiness of lactic & lemon acid, sourdough & yeast, next to bitter white grape & wood, vague wheaty touch. Dry, tart, woody finish, more white grapes, yeast & decent amount of warming white wine-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not really sure where this one is going but its main character is enjoyable indeed.

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (1st day) shared with BE RB crew and other gentle people there. F: thin, tan, quick gone. C: amber, bit hazy. A: a lot of grapes, orange, bit vinous, caramel. T: grapes, bit fruity, vinous, herbal, too boozy, medium to full body, lower carbonation, not bad.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19. this one showing 11%, maybe a new batch?

I Draught /I No head, copperish orange beer, faintly veiled. Vinous, winemost, old winebarrels, noble rot. Less vinous flavourcharacter, but more distinct, incense, dried grapes bereft of their sugars. Dry, medium bodied, alcoholimpression without being anywhere boozy.

Tap @ Cerveteca Lisboa. Pours misty golden amber, thin ring of bubbles atop. Aroma suggests a good white wine presence. Taste is oily slick, low carbonation, subtle strength with good wine grape character, additional wild herb, woody shades. Good stuff.

33cl Bottle from BeerCascais. Clear deep golden-amber colour, no head. Aroma of oak, grapes, just a light tartness, light yeasty, medium sweet, caramel. Flavour is sweet, fruity, grapes, light vinous, light tart, nice wine-ish sparkle, light syrupy, tart-bitter finish, hint of oak. Medium bodied, light alcoholic. Nice.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 13/07/2018 at "Caminha Artbeerfest 2018", Caminha (Portugal). Light orange colour with almost no head. Aroma is vinous, grapes, slightly wood and sulphur. Taste is the same leading to a prominent sulphuric and acidic finish. Next one please!
