Fire & Fury is a collab with Brouwerij de Molen.
It is a mid-strength stout, with a focus on a soft and round malt character. It welcomes you with cedar and citrus zest aromas mixed with an upfront sweetness of orange chocolate. The cedar tannins provide structure to the rich finish, followed by a gentle but heated kiss by the chillies.
Malt: Best Pale, Brown, DRC, Chocolate, Carafa Sp. 2, Malted Wheat, Flaked Oats
Yeast: WLP 540, US-05
Hops: Columbus

Can picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham consumed sat at the Brittany ferry port, Bilbao, Monday 9th July 2018 Pours black without a head that soon departed. The orange and chilli bother come through, Loz thinks the chilli is a bit hot, I disagree, however you are aware of it. It’s good but not great. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Can shared in Hackney - cheers to Scopey. Pours deep brown with a bubbly, tan head. Interesting nose, some ash, dried orange peel, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour, some nice ash, torched cedar, more citrus peel, mild bitter cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, ash, some chilli burn, more cedar, orange peel. Good fun.

Can shared at LKS. It pours opaque black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, fragrant, thyme, rosemary, floral, cedar wood, orange peel and chocolate orange. The taste is drying, bitter, chewy, tannin, warming spice, chilli, bitter chocolate, cocoa, rocky road, orange peel and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting stuff, decent stuff.
