Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy red. Film of dense, lasting, beige head. Nose has scorched grapefruit and orange. Ginger biscuit malts. Thick and ripe zestiness. Taste is chewy and oily, citrusy bitter. Soft, toffee sweetness. Super easy drinking at the ABV. Spicy, zesty bitter finish. Drinks like it’s half the ABV. Another Moor stunner. (It’s a DIPA any day of the week, for me).

Can from The Beerhive. Murky ruby body with a medium thick beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of candy, strawberry syrup and pine. Flavour of wood, caramel and a tangy berry edge. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Light fizz. Very enjoyable and easy to drink for the ABV.

Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Hazy amber - brown beer, patchy cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy caramel malts, thin creamy sweetness. Skunky hops - not to dank. Piney spice. Mellow citrus. Light semi dry spicy finish. Tangy citric linger. Nice enough and enough hops here to honour brewer intent - Double IPA!

Can at level 42, thanks to Daniel. It pours cloudy red - brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, resinous, dried fruits, wood, stewed orange, marmalade and toffee. The taste is smooth, sweet, sticky, resin, dried fruits, peach, nectarine, warming alcoho, touch of spice and toffee. Medium - full body, moderate carbonation and sticky mouth - feel. Sweet and warming. Pretty decent.

Bottle from Beer Revolution courtesy of Isobel (cheers Isobel!), Hay on Wye, Powys consumed at home whilst cooking, Monday 26th, Boxing Day, December 2016 Pours light amber in colour with a white head. Hoppier than expected but with a good ballsy maltiness throughout. There is a hoppy caramel seam, not too sweet and running to dryness, it’s good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Can shared in London - many thanks to Danny. Pours mostly clear orange-amber with a creamy, off-white head. Ripening and juicy citrus in the nose, orange, some bread, mango. Medium to big sweet flavour with bready malts, some berries, more mango, orange, light oily pine. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, with more ripe orange, some tropical notes, gooey pine, toasted crackers. Enjoyable beer.
