From Beer Drop, dating off the edge of the can.
Pours pitch black over a finger of tan foam, retention and lacing are excellent.
Smell is coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate and vanilla.
The taste is coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, quite bitter at times but not without some mild sweetness. And not without some alcohol presence.
Full bodied, I would drink this again.

A pillowy, well-laced dark mocha head on a jet black body. Nose features dark malt, coffee and a touch of chocolate and booze. The taste profile leads with sumptuous, rich chocolate fudge. Dark roast coffee, tobacco, biscuit malt, vanilla, ripe cherries and caramel underpin the fudge. A hint of liquorice, brandy, oatmeal and a touch of cream work with the dense body and rich texture to create a cake-like, sustained mouth feel. Underneath all that is a hint of sourness. Lots of tastes and sensations but no rough edges. A great IS.

Can shared at Vál during the hop harvest. I only took numerical notes while having this one.

Aromaty słodkie palony słód, orzechy wanilia. Czarne nie przejrzyste, piana brązowa szybko opadająca. Smaki słodkie, goryczka niewielka czekoladowa, czekolada orzechy, kakao, wanilia, alkohol rozgrzewający Nagazowanie średnie, alkohol czuć trochę szczypie, średnie ciało, lekko gorzki finisz. ogólnie niezwykle pijalne, bardzo zdradliwe

Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, vanilla, coffee, sweet chocolate, some liquorice, coffee grounds, caramel, touch of almond, with some alcohol. Flavour is quite sweet and moderate bitter. A little boozy, body is full. Rich and fairly complex dessert Stout, very sweet, flamboyant stuff.
Hello flavor town.

Can from BeerHeadz at home. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are buscuit and rich malty light chocolate. Rich full body.

Draught @ Rivercrest, Queens NY. Opaque dark brown with a small frothy tan head that disappears fast, sweet mocha-whisky aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter dark chocolate-whisky taste with cocoa nibs seeping in, thin body, long cocoa finish. Deeply satisfying.

Single 16 oz.can. Pours black with a nice 1-inch brown head. Smell actually leads with some almond cookie, but not overmuch. Taste first gives me a nice thick mouthfeel before flavors come through. Then, there it is, the note of almond and crispy cookie. Vanilla comes in behind, and some chocolate from the roasty malt. Notes of caramel become apparent as I go further down. Offers plenty of flavor that usually needs barrel aging to bring up. It’s a flavorful little beastie that’s not too full of alcohol.

1 pint can from Kaffee Bazaar webshop. F: huge, tanned, long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: rich dark malts, coffee, herbal, nutty, tobacco, spicy, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate. T: full malty base, light oily mouthfeel, chocolate, spicy, nutty, biscuits, herbal, caramel, nice balanced bitterness, coffee, cocoa, soft to medium carbonation, really great as I expected, fully enjoyed.
