Brewery draught, 8/11/23. Clear, bright golden. Strong brass and light lemon tints. White head quickly to light cover. Bright lemon, cracker and light biscuit. Light, leafy, woody. Clean, pretty low aromatics. White grape, table sugar, stone fruit and sour gummies. Moderate bitterness, a bit sluggish in the malt. I'm not a fan of the base beer and I hate HB hops so....

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet hay and citrus aromas. Crisp with earthy caramel, hay and lemon/lime upfront turning to earthy pith and peel in the medium length finish.

Cask at GBBF: Poured a golden with light bubble head. Aroma is grain, grassy, hops. Taste is similar with more hops dominating over the grain and malts.

6th August 2019
GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear paleish gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and crispy. Nice condition. Thin lagerish malts. Sweetish. Good floral hops. Little tangy citrus. Light finish brings the lightest touch of hop spice. A very rare example of a good cask lager.

Cask pour at GBBF 2019. Grassy, lemony, leafy hops in the nose. Almost clear golden color with a bubbly head. Huge dry hopping dominates the flavor. Crisp, creamy malt is in the background. Preppery, prickly, crips and soft with low carbonation. This is tasty and fun, but I think the dry hopping is over the top, and obscures the usually lovely malt character of this beer.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2019. Clear gold colour . Bit perfumed clear gold colour. It's a bit leafy. Not much of a cask lager. Ok. Too perfumed for me
