Large foamy white head left a creamy top on a finely carbonated amber coloured body.
Orange, malt & spiced aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy & clean on the back.
Spiced, malt, orange & woody tastes with a long bitter finish.
A bit "saison"ish, nice enough.

Bottle, thanks Dave! Opaque golden fanta. Apple-ish fat flat boozy edge. Taste is surprisingly better; front heavy, sparkly, apple, dry sweet sticky aftertaste. Drinkable.

Bottle i brought, drunk at HopDog. Slight gusher. Funky nose, lightly sour. Nice sweetness mixed with some bretty and sour notes, but mild and very well balanced with sweetness and hops. Dangerous, I could drink a lot of this.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy and almost opaque amber with a lively, lacing, off-white head with good retention. Yeasty nose paired with overripe fruit and some Brett. Rich, sweet body, brown sugar and distinct Brett. Some finishing bittering hops. Carbonation at the high end. Sort of a 'mini-Orval', and quite interesting. 210324

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a deep amber colour with a large thick throthy off-white head. Aromas of ripe oranges and some stoney fruits. Taste has these same fruity notes with some peppery spice. Nice full body with fairly low carbonation. Although not very Christmasy it is still a very good beer with a lovely full mouthfeel.

18 December 2021. 6th Anniversary and Christmas Beer Evening with the lovely Anke!

Bottle from Geers. Hazy amber, stable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of red apple, pear, raisin, biscuit, cinnamon, herbs, brioche. Taste has sweet apple & pear in caramelly, biscuity, bit sugary malt body; somewhat spicy, herbal & yeasty. Herbal hoppy finish with red fruit, clove, liquorice & caramel, trace of warming liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable and balanced.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 08/2022.
