Tap at Gremlin. Nice smell, that slightly funky tropical fruit thing, tropical fruit that's rich but a little on the turn! Also a hit of citrus sharpness. And b.o. Taste is pretty nice. Fruity, quite bitter, lots of tropical again, biscuity malt and a touch of spice too. Zesty. Oranges, mango, papaya. Get the alcohol but it is just a warmer rather than a knockout blow. Further down, pineapple juice! Not as sweet as the noise would suggest. Nice.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy amber. Film of sticky, white head. Very jammy. Lots of sweet, grainy malts. Pine resin. Grassy hop. Very juicy. Very aromatic. Thatโs where the sweetness ends. Drinks resinous, juicy bitter. Some dryness. Drinks easily under the ABV. Finishes bitter, but with some dryness. Pretty restrained overall, and very enjoyable for it.

Bottle at home, from Ales By Mail, 15/03/15. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent light beige head that retains well. Nose is melon, light pine, toasted malt, grapefruit, tangerine, straw, orange pith. Taste comprises sweet licks, pine, faint booze tunes, caramel, mandarin, mango, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterenss. Solid enough DIPA, carries a little heat towards the end but generally masks the 9.5% well.

Amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, off-white head.
Lovely aroma of peach, citrus, pine, some berries, tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, subtle sweet malts.
Tastes of grapefruit, peach, tropical fruits, pine, resin, some grass, slight pepper, biscuit, honey.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, piney, grassy, resinous, fruity and a bit sweet malty.
Tasty! Really enjoyable DIPA with lovely, quite juicy hops and just enough malt backbone to balance the bitterness, but keep the drinkability at the same time. A bit more pine notes and this would be pretty perfect for me.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey. Pours clear reddish-gold with a bubbly white head. The nose holds bready malts, pine and ripe orange. Medium to big sweet flavor with ripe berries, brown bread, pine, ripe citrus. Full bodied with fine carbonation; lightly under-carbonated. Sweet and bready to finish, a bit resinous, a little boozy. OK.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, bubbly off white head. Palate is light, semi dry and with a nice fine crispness. Very light malts. Hops start with a little spice. Mild orange, some marmalade. Little floral sweetness gives way to traces of lemon and tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Hol spicy linger. Goes down fairly easy!

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazy autumnal amber with medium foamy white head. Quite a vibrant, fruity aroma. Taste is similarly fruity, smooth & hoppy but still rather slick & easy drinking for the ABV. Mango yoghurt, lime, papaya & pineapple shine through.. a delectable DIPA & my favourite batch so far.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; light hazy copper pour with a thin creamy off white head, assertive hop aroma with some caramel, taste has sweet caramel, tangerine, pine, pineapple, big bitter finish, nice.

On tap at Weird Beard Tap Takeover, Bottle Shop, Bermondsey, Saturday 7th February 2015 Pours gold with a mid sized filmy white head. Slick in the mouth with a wonderful sweetness, though if I was being critical it may be a tiny bit too sweet, however I am really enjoying this so not going to be sniffy about it, itโs lovely. Citrussy with some sweet orange, yep like this a lot. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
