Aged in very special Kentucky whiskey barrels to add a super smooth, buttery, and complex whiskey character to our multi-award winning BORIS The Crusher Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Richer and bolder than our standard Bourbon Barrel Aged BORIS Stout, this rare version is a testament to our hard work and dedication in bringing our customers the very best.

Velvety dark oily black thin head fairly weak nose. Just a touch of tar, cigar and brownies. Nice taste. Quite toasty. Some chocolate cookies and vanilla and table sugar. Sweet finish. Roast is throughout and sticks around long after finishing still, lacking quite a bit

Bottle as shown thanks to George. Pours a dark brown with thick creamy tan head that lasts leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong bourbon, oak, chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with nice rich chocolate, light oak, with nice smooth finish. Really enjoyed this one.

22oz bottle pours an oily black with some brown head. Nose is really good, coconut, vanilla, toasted wood, chocolate, molasses, a little cherry, toasted marshmellow. Flavor has a ton of toasted marshmellow, molasses, toasted coconut, wood, a little pencil lead, sweet brown sugar, a little cakey. Slightly hot, oily finish. Really really good.

Bottle split at that legendary January 3rd 2014 tasting, aka the not to small tasting, big ole dankts to LK Smith for this bonus goodness. Mid black with a good dirty tan head that quickly dissipates to a pond and edgework. Nose is dark malts, sweet aromas, light roast, bourbon notes, toffee. Taste comprises rich brown sugars, dark toffee fudge, light roast, chocolate, subtle bourbon twang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth feel. Solid BA impy, a really easy drinking affair for the ABV!

Bottle at that massive Friday tasting. Big shout-out to L-Dogg for this cheeky offering. It pours near black with small beige head. The nose is toasty, roasted malt, earth, coffee, dark chocolate and wood. The taste is rich, oily, coffee, rich chocolate, charred wood, some dried fruits and vanilla with a dry finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Smooth, slick and pretty tasty stuff. Comes together rather well. Nice.

Medium sweet with some torched wood, baking cocoa, scorched earth, dried dark berries. Full bodied with fine carbonation.
