A classic Quebec hoppy blonde! An overactive, fluffy white head on a golden straw body. Nice punch to the nose with citrus, pepper and sweet malt. There is a nice relatively soft range of fruity tastes from the hops - kiwi, lemon, mango and orange lead the way. The sweet malt is a nice backdrop, and pepper and a soft soapiness add to taste. Strong effervescence helps keep it clean and sessionable.

This impressed me. Some great citrus aromas, lemon, blood orange, and grapefruit. The pine, and resins come through after it’s all done. The malts anr there but they stayin the foreground and just keep everything together. The flavour is more hops, but the bitterness is kept in check. The finish is a light to medium bitterness with another dose of great citric hops.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color. Dry, highly carbonated, hence I believe it fermented out of control; strong bitterness wirh amounts of chicory bitterness.
Very unprofessional.

Hazy, amber. Thin head. On the aroma, the hops come across as lychee and mint. Bitter, with a minty accent, and a slight herbal accent. It gets a bit harsh in terms of bitterness, but ok hop note.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of cardboard, some herbal hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with subdued hop flavour that leaves a very aggressive astringency and crisp biscuity malt. Very aggressive bitterness that is too sharp. Meh.

Very nice fresh hop aromas in this one. A mix of citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes), grasses and even sweet yeast (kind of Belgian Ale ones). The taste is quite bitter, sharp. Like pure citrus zest. Hop bomb? Oh yes. Hazy golden colour with orange hue. Whitish head, soapy, long lasting with some decent lacing. Quite the hop grenade.

On tap at the brewery. Houblonniere is A nice slightly cloudy copper gold with a thick beige head. It had hoppy green c-hops, hop pellet and pine aroma. Very bitter but clean, some dankness lots of pine and a bit of caramel malts. A solid hop forward APA that is almost an IPA.

A little hoppy. Pours a little red and orange. Soft carbonation. Some citrus - not sure how fresh this is but not as hoppy as the name suggests. Bottle from Bieres du Monde.
