Bottle at home picked up from Watford M&S. A deep orange amber coloured pour with a forthy white head. Aroma is sweet toffee / honey malts, graham cracker, little hint of diacetyl. Some grassy old hop on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, dried fruit, raisin, little chalky, woody orange. Palate is light bodied, little thin, high spritzy carbonation, chalky. Meh.

Bottle from M&S Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry mineral grainy, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Really miss the gluten. Can we have it back please? I think they took something else along with the gluten :-)

330ml bottle from Marks & Spencer, Darlington. Golden amber colour with a white foam head. Nose of malt, fruity, caramel, grassy. Taste is bready malty, grain, some caramel, biscuit, tangy & fruity, with hay and grassy bitterness. Medium body & carbonation, dry grassy bitter finish. Quite OK, good for gluten free.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Manchester. Dark gold with a thin head. Light textured and tasting for a Belgian ale, but its style remains decent with a few pale lager malts evident.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the M&S on Ocford Street. Pours clear, hearty gold with a slight, creamy off-white head. There’s a metallic note in the nose, along with toasted cereal, grain and dried berries. Light to medium sweet flavour with some toasty bread, more cereal, faint ripe citrus, more berries, a bit of bitter toasty hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decently balanced to finish, some further toasted cereal, mild bitter grain husk, touches of dry caramel, faint grass, bread. Not bad overall, especially for a gluten-free offering.

Clear amber body with a faint white head that quickly fades. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of cardboard, musty orange and weak spices. Flavour is muted - straw, orange, caramel and grain. Thin body with a light, oily texture. Soft fizz. A dull, disappointing beer.

Clear, dark gold. Halo of white head. Sweetish malt. Light toffee. Hint of almond, maybe. Taste is light dry. Thin palate. Finish is not coming fast enough...
